This site has no accounts and no forms, and it sets no cookies. It counts visits, and its web server keeps a log of requests. This page says what is kept and why.

Visit counts

We keep basic anonymized analytics so we can make sure the service keeps running and stays free from errors. The only third parties we rely on are those that provide infrastructure, such as your internet provider and Cloudflare, or assets and login services, such as Google.

The counts set no cookies and store nothing that identifies you.

Server logs

Our web server writes a line for each request it answers: the time, the page or file asked for, the page you came from, the browser and operating system your device reports, and your IP address. The logs stay on our own machines and are separate from the visit counts.

The player count

The number of players online comes from our own server, which asks the Minecraft server and remembers the answer for 30 seconds. Your browser asks pwnedgalaxy.net for it and never contacts the Minecraft server or a status site.

Cookies and your browser

This site sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser's storage. Its fonts, images and scripts all load from pwnedgalaxy.net. The Copy buttons put the server address on your clipboard when you press one, and read nothing from it.

Other services

This page covers the website only. The Minecraft server at mc.pwnedgalaxy.net, our Discord, the store, Gaming Galaxy, and the vote pages on Planet Minecraft and Minestatus are separate services. This site loads nothing from them. Once you follow a link or join the server, that service's own policy applies.
